My "empty" date
__________________
What started off as an ordinary Msn nick "expression"
turned into a theme date!
In the days after Ney left,
there was one particular day
where I felt exceptionally lonely~
So,
I typed "feelin empty"
onto my Msn nick..
Somehow,
Didi took notice of it
and he decided to attempt to cheer me up
by asking me out for dinner :D
Kyle and Miki came along too
and we all caught up over dinner at Greasy Joe's
and tea @ San Churros!!!
Enjoy~
Thanks guys I really enjoyed :D
I should feel empty more often!!!

Neyney's Bird-day '08
_____________________
(Warning: Whinning alert !!!!)
As the saying goes,Life is unpredictable.
Sometimes you can plan it all,
but STILL,
something will go wrong.
This is the case of the birthday.
Ney's 24th birthday.
As we had to send my Mum for a
doctor's visit in the afternoon,
there was really a limit to what we could do.
So,
the day before his birthday,
we went downtown to have a look at a selection
of potential birthday presents that
I have painfully shortlisted over a period of 2 months.
1) Tiffany & Co's Men's bangle
2) Marcs leather smart casual briefcase
3) Bally's leather bag
4) Gucci leather bag
5) LV leather bag
After much debate and countless tryings,
we decided that we were gonna go for the Gucci bag.
Right,
come Thursday,
his actual birthday.
Morning
__________
Got off to a bad start.
Don't wana talk about it,
but it had nothing to do with Ney.
Although feeling upset and fustrated,
I told myself to pull it together
as I didn't want to spoil his birthday,
not to mention his second last day in Melb.
Afternoon
__________
Told Ney that we should go to the bank,
get the money settled and get his bag first
before doing anything else.
He decided against it,
as his "better be safe" nature
got the better of him.
He wanted to go have a last look
at all the options once again, and so we did.
Finally,
deciding that the other stuff were either
too expensive or not worth it,
we went to the bank to change my smaller notes
into bigger denominations.
Right,as you've probably predicted,
there was a long queue at the bank.
Finally after a painful 30min wait,
we got what we wanted,
proceeded to the Gucci boutique.
Upon entering the boutique,
we saw 2 young Chinese lads trying on
that particular bag we wanted.
Thinking that they were just having a look,
we politely waited for them to put the bag
down before asking the sales lady,
whom was enthusiastically promoting
the bag like she had the day before to us,
for it.
Lo and behold...
the two lads decided to buy it!!!!
Right.
It was fine,
we didn't think much of it,
we could have asked for another piece later.
However, our hearts sank when we overheard the
lady telling the lads that that was the last piece.
Finally once they've settled their payment and
walked out with our intended purchase,
we sadly left our contact number and
told her to get in touch with us if
she managedto get another piece,
which was highly unlikely
as Gucci boutiques only get stock on Tue, Wed and Thur.
Furthermore, there is only ONE outlet in the whole of Vic.
WTH!!!!!
Reason being,
small market in Aust!!!
Leavin without a present, and largely dissapointed
we proceeded to go have dinner.
Dinner
___________
Arrived at No.3 at Station Pier~
always wanted to bring Ney there during his time in Melb,
but never got the chance,
so,
this time I specially called the day before to reserve
a seat with a nice viewto ensure that he had a nice dinner.
However,upon arriving,
I suspect a change of management,
not to mention the crazy parking fees that
I had to pay to park there.
Told Ney we should be out in 1.5 hrs time,
we paid 5 bucks for carpark.
We ordered a round of anti pasto
2 fish fillets,
creme brulee dessert,
beer for Ney
and for myself,
resisting the delicious looking cocktail
because it was too expensive,
ordered tea.
..............................
True enough,
the food turned out pretty bad.
Ambience was alright,
but HONESTLY
I think I could have done way better.
SORRY NEY~
Anyway,
here's my point.
Halfway during dinner,
I mentioned that our 1.5hours was running out
and we should go put somemore money into the machine.
Sensing that we were experiencing a streak of bad luck,
I insisted that he went,
BUT,
he said that they wouldnt be out checking now
given that it was already 9pm.
Yes,
you'd probably know,
we got a fine.
Heafty $57 parking fine...
Confirmed!!!!
Bad luck!!!!!
So,
we sadly drove home~
.......................
Halfway through the journey,
I suddenly got this feeling that
we were gonna kenna one of those booze test.
SO,
this time round,
I insisted that we swaped,
and I drove!!!
Seriously,
abt 2 km in front of my place,
BREATH TEST!!!
Thank god I was driving,
imagine Neyney getting caught
for drink driving!!!!
Especially after the last red light incident,
I think no need to drive liao~
Hai~
morale of story,
"act according to instincts"!
Don't take chances!@!@!@!
